Snowy Wedding Photography in Colorado

Wednesday, November 18, 2009 Posted in Denver Wedding Photography

We  had a wedding this last Saturday with an adorable couple here in Colorado at Arrowhead Golf Course.  If you aren’t familiar with it, it is a beautiful venue with lots of red rocks, water, trees and wildlife.  Megan is a friend of another bride whose wedding we did at the same venue last year so we knew we were going to love this couple!  They have a unique story in that they have known each other since they were very young.  They chose to have their wedding in November for personal reasons and knew there would be a chance of snow.  However they didn’t expect an entire snow storm and neither did we!  Luckily we were able to do the bride and groom pictures before the ceremony before the heavy snow fall came.  When we headed back to meet up with their bridal party the weather quickly changed!  The groom’s cousin (Tina) took this photo of us taking pictures with the frozen group and the bride sent it over to us this afternoon.  I thought we would share it because it shows exactly what we do sometimes here in Colorado for our wedding photography  If you look past the wedding party you will even see some deer who didn’t understand what the problem was!

We recently did a post on the testimonials from some of our clients  and so I thought I would share this one as well!

Thank you Robert and Megan;  we had a great time, even in the cold!

“Hi Andy and Angie!

I hope that your week is going well!

Rob and I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed working with you on Saturday! With all the chaos that went on that day, I have to admit that my favorite part was getting to spend some quality time with you two in the snow! It was the only part of the day that I actually felt alone with Robert. You two really have a great chemistry and you made me feel so special! I will remember it for the rest of my life. Thank you so much!

Talk to you later!

Meg”

  • Mindy You guys are so frickin' frackin' cute I can hardly stand it. (I'm so thankful the Mexico humidity didn't melt you - it would have been really hard to live with that one on my conscience.) He he. 11.19.09, 12:38PM
  • andy We couldn't really do much but wipe them down after we came inside. I could hardly see the viewfinder, and the back was fogged up. 11.19.09, 01:18PM
