A few weeks ago we headed out to take some pictures of Jackson. We shoot a decent amount of family portraits, senior portraits and family portraits but have not done a very good job of showing them on the blog over the last few years. So I am trying to get better. Plus I think many of you will enjoy them. As you can tell jackson is a very happy baby, and he is 7 months old in these photograph’s. We had a great time Allison and Jackson, thanks for letting us take some portraits.
I have been working on these images for a few weeks and Jamie should be happy that they are almost done. I couldn’t help myself in sharing a few more of the images. I know it’s at least fun for you guys to see a few sets of images a week. So enjoy them we have a lot more beautiful images to share.
On a side note we just broke 20,000 unique visitors yesterday since we launched the new flosites blog in January, and had almost 700 unique visits yesterday. It doesn’t sound like all that many but those are unique visitors not visits. Just last month this blog had over 14,000 visits and since january has had over 120,000 . I wanted to say we owe much of the success to flosites for the wonderful and engaging design.
Justin & Lisa were married in Perry Park, here in Colorado at the Country Club. Although Andy & I have lived here our whole lives, neither of us had heard of this place and so we were excited to see it! Nestled on the edge of Pike National Forest and just south west of Castle Rock, it was beautiful and has many of the large red rock formations that you see throughout Colorado. The Country Club itself is exclusive to it’s members but every year hosts many weddings with it’s beautiful views.
The wedding ceremony was outside overlooking Lake Wauconda. Although a little windy the day was beautiful and Lisa did a great job putting all of the details together. It was a smaller wedding with only their family and closest friends. One of the beautiful things about this wedding was how close Justin & Lisa are to their family & the important part they played in their wedding. Lisa’s bridesmaids wore long, formal, pink dresses and carried bouquets with with a combination of white flowers and pink roses. Lisa carried a bigger bouquet full of white roses and stargazer lilies.

Their ceremony wasn’t long, but the best part was when Justin yelled out that he was the luckiest man in the world as their family cheered and Lisa had happy tears flowing down her face. After the ceremony we hopped in the golf carts and played around doing pictures with them on the golf course. We were excited to have a new place to shoot and couldn’t of asked for better weather.
Lisa spent the most amount of time planning their wedding reception; with lots of white draping hung from the ceiling and speciality lighting throughout the room (pink, of course ). The tables & chairs were covered in white with pink napkins and ties around the chairs. Each table was adorned with tall centerpieces and flowers of pink & white.
They had a beautiful 4 tiered white cake with swirls and pink roses that sat in the corner and deck off the side of the room allowed guests to watch the sunset. We had a great time with Justin & Lisa and we wish you a long and happy married life!
