It’s always flattering when a fellow photographer hires you for their own wedding! We have done several of these over the years and still blush a little when they sign the contract 
We wanted to share a wedding today from one of those fellow photographers, Bryan & Alex from Avant Photography here in Denver.
They had a smaller wedding up in Genessee Park on a bright sunny day! Since this isn’t a typical wedding venue they brought everything themselves including an aisle runner and chairs. They had picked out the exact spot in the park they wanted their ceremony to take place and with the help of their friends and family had it all set up that morning.
If you know Andy & I, you know we love the color orange almost as much as our assistant, Charlotte does 
So, when we saw the bridesmaid dresses Alex had picked out it put a huge smile on our face! And actually she did a combination of solid orange dresses with orange/white flowered dresses. To compliment the dresses Alex also picked out bouquets full of orange roses, orange gerber daises and smaller white daises. The whole combination went very well together and was so pretty!
One of the things we loved at their wedding was the old English wedding ceremony. Each of the wedding party had small speech to give about the couple and they exchanged old time gifts like a knife and jewelry. It was so much fun to watch and after the couple was surrounded by all of their guests as they showered them with rose petals.
