If you are a bride and have never seen Della Terra you owe it to yourself to check out the beautiful property in Estes Park. This portrait was taken upstairs in one of the beautiful getting ready rooms. High ceilings, tile and and incredible bathtub are just a few of the highlights. We thought the lines would make for an interesting portrait so we took Amber up their for a few photographs. I liked the way the architecture and lines, combined with the light helped frame and spotlight Amber.
I was preparing images for a blog post from a wedding in Estes Park at Della Terra and ran across this image. It struck me, because it tells a story. It at least for me, has the ability to put me in someone else’s shoes. The interesting light on the bride. The image gives you the ability even though you may not have a daughter to feel what it’s like to give her away at her wedding. That is one of the greatest gifts that a photograph can give us.
Something to make you smile. Getting those, real genuine moment’s, the ones that show who you are. How you love, How you laugh. Even showing how hard relationships can be. You think they would be able to pull this off, maybe not. May have to try this with Angie to see if we can pull it off.
For those of you not in Colorado we woke up to more snow today. We missed the first snowstorm, being on the East Coast in Baltimore shooting a destination wedding. So it was a little bit of a shock seeing the white stuff. For those of you, that don’t especially like the winter I thought I would share an image from the beautiful fall we had.
