The trees and weather are starting to turn in Colorado. We don’t have the peak colors yet but they are well on there way. We took this photograph this weekend here in Littleton. The picture has a touch of fall colors and plays on the relationship between the light and dark areas in the image to create depth and texture. I hope that you enjoy the fall.
When we first met with Jessica, she said she wanted her wedding to be small, full of friends and close family, tied to her church and designed around purple and white colors. And….when it came down to it, she did exactly that! Her bridesmaids wore purple and all of the girls carried bouquets of white purple flowers. Their wedding was at Cherry Hills Church and their ceremony was full of emotion, happy tears and singing!
They have nothing in common but I liked the photo:)
One of the things I have always loved about what we do is capturing different people’s personalities. Every wedding is different from another and that’s because of those different personalities. Usually there is some sort of budget in mind but Brides pick their venue, their colors, their dress and their vendors based on their personality which is reflected in their choices. Vic & Sierra were married at Cheeseman Park in Denver overlooking the city. Sierra was fun and even jumped in with a group of local guys breakdancing right outside the ceremony. Sierra loves the ocean, beaches and everything that goes along with that. So for their wedding she brought those things to Denver!
Their ceremony was full of hanging starfish and her bridesmaids carried seashells full of orchids. Each of her bridesmaids had the same cute dress but with a different colored sash matching a groomsmen with the same colored tie.
Their reception was also downtown and full of candles, white draping and sea shells, of course!
