Tae and Thy had very fun wedding at the Magnolia Hotel in downtown denver. The wedding was in the club room and the reception was across the street at the Ballroom which is one of the nicest spaces I have seen in colorado. They had some incredible flower arrangements. They had flowers on columns at each row. Huge arrangements up at the alter area and giant centerpieces on every table at the reception. It was truly beautiful. There guests had so much fun and got to take carriage rides in downtown denver curtsy of the bride and groom.
Angie and I got back late last night from Philadelphia and the wedding we shot there this weekend. We had a great time and got some beautiful imagery. I can’t wait to share the images. Unfortunately it will be a month or so before I can get to them with all the work we have to do. All I can say is, it is really ,really, really hot in Philadelphia; it got to 105 with humidity! We don’t have a whole lot of humidity in Colorado so we aren’t use to that. My hat is off to the guys who work and do weddings in that every week.
We were lucky enough to spend some time on our own checking out the city again. We have both been there, but there is so much to do it’s fun go around. We visited the famous South Street and had a Philly Cheese steak at Jim’s. We also went to some of the historical sites and ate at some great restaurants.
Andy has been working on this new blog and I think he did a great job. Hope you guys enjoy it. Let us know what you think.
This post has been put up to show a few examples engagement portraits taken in the colorado mountains.
