Sneak Peak Labor Day Engagement Session

Tuesday, September 04, 2012 Posted in Denver Wedding Photography

It’s Tuesday, after a long weekend.  We hope everyone got to spend some time with their family’s and enjoy the Colorado weather.  On labor day we got to take these two out and we had a great time getting some great light and being outside in Colorado.  I  always love the moment right before the kiss and the way the background was rendered almost looks like a painting.

Bridal before the Wedding

Tuesday, August 28, 2012 Posted in Denver Wedding Photography

This image was taken a few hours before Sierra’s wedding.  I loved her smile and the downtown urban look.  Images of the happy bride before the wedding are always fun to look at as they are happy and ready for one of their most important days.

Sneak Peak Magnolia Hotel Wedding

Friday, August 24, 2012 Posted in Denver Wedding Photography

It’s Friday but I wanted to share a picture from a wedding in downtown Denver.  The bride got ready at the Magnolia hotel downtown and we stopped to take a few images in the lobby.  It’s a beautiful hotel to get some images.

Winter Wedding in Denver At The Historic Oxford Hotel

Tuesday, July 10, 2012 Posted in Denver Wedding Photography

James and Jennifer had a small wedding at the historic Oxford Hotel in downtown Denver.  The groom’s family was all from England and it was fun for them to see our city and tour our beautiful state!  They had a winter wedding with snow on the ground and all of the beautiful decorations that are put up for the holiday season.  If you have never seen Christmas Time in downtown Denver, I would suggest you do including all of the old hotels, The Oxford and The Brown Palace and lights on the Capital Building and Union Station.

The bride and groom had a small bridal party with one person on each side and the bride carried a huge bouquet of red roses.  Their ceremony and reception were candle lit with a soft romantic feel and red roses on each table.  It was fun working with James and Jennifer playing around with dramatic light in the dark, capturing those special moments with candle light and learning all about the England wedding traditions from the groom’s family.  The bride even surprised the groom with a traditional English Fruit Cake that they would of served if they were married in England!
