Tim & Heidi matched the groomsmen outfits with the beautiful dresses of the bridesmaids; they wore black tuxedos with matching navy blue ties and vests. Their boutonnieres were also cute little blue flowers to match the overall colors of the wedding. They were married outside with a beautiful view looking down the mountain; the ceremony site faces east and sits up over the highway so you can see for miles. Tim & Heidi had beautiful weather for their wedding and so after their ceremony we were able to shoot with them for awhile with the beautiful mountain scenery! The second part of this beautiful colorado wedding photography can be found here.
Their cake was a 3 tiered yellow, round cake with blue, yellow and purple gerber daisies. Each centerpiece was a simple glass vase filled with rocks, a candle and a navy blue ribbon to match! Here is part 2 of our favorite photos from their wedding day!
Paul and Megan’s wedding had some of the most beautiful details and colors! Their color scheme was simple, blue, purple and green; all based around peacock leathers she found when planning her wedding. Her bridesmaids wore tea length purple dresses and flat shoes with peacock leathers. They carried a beautiful bouquet of green and white flowers and Megan carried a bouquet filled with white and purple peonies and Anemone. Her dress had small sleeves that hung off her shoulder and she wore a beautiful white flower in her hair.
The groom and groomsmen wore a classy peacock boutonniere with small green flowers on their pin striped suits. There was a small table at the front of the ceremony full of different sized glass vases full of different purple, white and green flowers, including peonies, anemone, chrysanthemum. The reception was so elegant and beautiful yet so simple with deep purple table cloths and small glass vases with little green chrysanthemums. Everything was put together so well using the peacock feathers and the colors; it was truly beautiful! Here is a second set of images from their wedding!

One of the most beautiful venues here in Colorado for a wedding is Phipps Mansion. Unfortunately this is their last year having brides and weddings use their site and we are very sad! Phipps Mansion was built in 1933 and sits on 5 1/2 acres of landscaped grounds. The mansion is over 33,000 square feet and has more than 70 rooms. It was decorated with European influence and has served as a venue for weddings, corporate events and even held the Summit of the Eight conference back in 1997.
Paul and Megan had their wedding here in the back garden with the quartet playing from the doorway of the living room and their guests sitting amongst the plush green grass, small fountains and breathtaking flowers. It rained for the majority of the day but finally let up as the ceremony began. It was an emotional setting and we watched the happy tears flow from their families eyes as Megan walked through the garden with her dad towards her new husband. Paul and Megan had beautiful vows and after the ceremony the guests made their way to huge back patio of the mansion for the reception. With no real formal wedding traditions the guests sat outside with the beautiful gardens all around them chatting, telling stories about the bride and groom and laughing. It was such a beautiful, happy wedding in such a calm and relaxed setting. Here are a few of our favorites from that day!
Part II soon!
