When we first met with Jessica, she said she wanted her wedding to be small, full of friends and close family, tied to her church and designed around purple and white colors. And….when it came down to it, she did exactly that! Her bridesmaids wore purple and all of the girls carried bouquets of white purple flowers. Their wedding was at Cherry Hills Church and their ceremony was full of emotion, happy tears and singing!
It is always fun to see your images on another blog. Of course we can’t take all the credit we are super lucky to work with the clients we do. They have great taste and are wonderful people. They allow us to be a part of some beautiful and inspirational weddings. The biggest thing I love about our couples is they almost always add their personality to the wedding. The wedding that was published had lots of running sneakers, because they love to run. Anyway head over to Colorado Weddings Magazine and take a look.
We did this fun wedding up in Vail at the beautiful Donavon’s Pavilion. Charles and Melanie wanted a winter wedding and they definitely got it with the cold and the snow. It was fun working with this couple; they weren’t traditional at all from the bride’s silver, sparkly shoes to the outside dark family photos with special lighting. The girls all carried bouquets of feathers and the whole wedding was designed with branches, special lighting and crystal beads.
Two weeks before our wedding I photographed our first wedding in Philadelphia. I won’t go into all the details that led us there but lets just say it wasn’t a coincidence that I ended up photographing that first wedding. I don’t know if the statistic is true but we have all heard 95 percent of businesses fail in the first five years. I would say that 8 years is an accomplishement to really be proud of. Angie and I want to thank all of our customers and family that have supported us over the years. We truly are humbled that we get to do something we love so much and that you invite us to take photographs at your most important events and loved ones.
May 22nd 8 years ago we were married, which some of you are saying wow it was eight years ago? I think the number is kind of misleading since we started dating senior year of high school. So I like to actually think of the sixteen years that we have been together as well.
A little note for Angie. Thank you for all the laughs, for being there through the great times and the bad times. Thank you for being a constant source of smiles and love. You are a beautiful women inside and out, and a beautiful example to all of us.
Of course a post without pictures isn’t really a post at all. A few pictures from a session with Angie. It was a bit windy and cold but I think they turned out beautiful. What do you think? It really is a lot of fun to be able to take images of those you love.
