We had three weddings this weekend and 2 portrait sessions before that. To say that we are super tired would be an understatement. Since it is Monday though I wanted to make sure that you guys had a pretty image to check out. This is another shot from free to create put on by Scott Stebner. We are super appreciative of the time and effort for organizing it and allowing us to come have some fun. Lots more images soon.
We even ended up teaching some about our off camera flash and this is one of the shots that we set up and lit. We used one light but by using the sun as as second light we were able to get another two light look. One for a hair light and another as a rim light for her arms and back.
Every once in a while we get the opportunity to make imagery just for ourselves. What do I mean by that. Without the pressure of earning our living that day. On a paid wedding day we take into account who the client is, what they have told us they like. In some ways we try and stay within the boundaries of what we know the client will like as we have limited time and usually no time to spare. Thanks to the hard work of a local photographer who we will thank in a later post we got to shoot for us. Fun to say least. I wanted to share a quick image that I really liked.
Relationships. Love. Having someone to walk through this life with.
Summer engagement sessions at a lake. With a name like Luv-boat I knew it would make you smile . We can all use a little smile on a Monday. We hope to share this engagement session soon, lots of beautiful colorado mountains, a lake and a super in love couple.
