As a photographer there is a formula, if you will, for an interesting beautiful photograph. Two of the elements we are always looking for is color and texture. Beautiful old worn trucks with a lot of character are an opportunity most photographers can’t miss. I love the simple elegant white shoes with the old blue texture and color. The film handles this scene very well keeping lots of of information in the highlights.

Every once in a while we get the opportunity to make imagery just for ourselves. What do I mean by that. Without the pressure of earning our living that day. On a paid wedding day we take into account who the client is, what they have told us they like. In some ways we try and stay within the boundaries of what we know the client will like as we have limited time and usually no time to spare. Thanks to the hard work of a local photographer who we will thank in a later post we got to shoot for us. Fun to say least. I wanted to share a quick image that I really liked.
Many times when we photograph a destination wedding we will do another session the next day! When we traveled to Mexico for Chris and Mindy’s wedding we did just that and today we thought we would share a few of our favorite images from that day!
It was a crazy day with a lot of fun memories and interesting cenotes! We are so thankful to Chris and Mindy for going on the adventure of a lifetime for the sake of photography!
We just got back from a great wedding in Glenwood Springs, so I don’t have a whole wedding ready to show. Shoes say a lot about the people that wear them especially at a wedding. With so many color choices and designs the choices are almost endless.
Classic white shoes with a fun bow say something as well. Hope you enjoy picking yours.
