Brown Palace Wedding

Scott & Jo were married in downtown Denver at the beautiful Holy Trinity Church. Jo used deep reds throughout the wedding perfect for the winter time of year and so elegant. The groomsmen wore traditional black tuxedos and the bridesmaids were in long black gowns.

She carried a beautiful bouquet of red roses and after their emotional ceremony we all crossed the street for their reception at the historic Brown Palace Hotel. If you live in Denver or have ever visited during the holidays; many of the large hotels decorate their lobbies with huge trees and lots of lights. As a photographer it is always fun to photograph weddings that time of year with the amazing decor.

Their reception was in one of the many ballrooms the Brown Palace offers with their huge chandeliers and pretty wallpaper. Each of the tables were adorned with tall vases, red roses and black feathers. The whole set up was so beautiful and Jo even had a second bridal gown that changed into to dance the night away.

I just love images like this. Why? I love the few minutes before a wedding. We always give the bride and groom a few minutes before the wedding to compose themselves and focus on what is important . Sometimes photographers forget that the pictures are not the most important thing at the wedding.

What does Vail Cascade, Donovans Pavilion and the Vail chapel have in common

There are so many amazing places in the Colorado mountains to get married and Vail is always a favorite! We wanted to share a few of our favorite shots from a wedding we did in Vail with Todd & Michelle. They were married at the Vail Chapel; if you haven’t been there it is an adorable little church in the town of Vail with a grass area out back and a small stream. Michelle had a long veil and a beautiful bouquet of white roses and tulips. They had a large bridal party; 9 people on each side, with all of their close friends. Her bridesmaids wore different styles of long black dresses and carried bouquets of pink roses and tulips while the groomsmen wore simple white roses on their black jackets. Eastern Colorado Wedding Photographer

Mark and Angela were married in eastern Colorado in farm land. Mark is in the military and has spent a lot of time away so they planned their wedding when they knew for sure he would be home.

When Angela first met with us she said there was a lot of open prairie, tractors and an old truck. Not knowing us well enough yet she wondered if there would be anything we could work with as photographers, but on the wedding day she found out how excited we were! She grew up out there and her family still lives there farming the land, she shared many stories of growing up and what is like to live on a farm. She had both Andy and I rolling on the floor and we knew we were going to have a lot of fun with her on the wedding day with photography.

They used a lot of red in their wedding from the red bride’s maid dresses to red flowers in the bouquets all the way to her crazy red wedding shoes. They were married in a cute little old church out there in the middle of nowhere and their reception was across the street in one of the only other buildings around. It was a great wedding to be a part of and we want to thank Mark for all he does for our country in the military.

It was dark after the ceremony so we got some really cool moody images. Photographers you may have seen this image hanging in a 40×60 at the WHCC booth in Las Vegas

Omni Interlocken Wedding Photographers

Chris and Teresa were married at the Spirit of Christ Catholic Church and it was a fun ceremony to shoot because they were in the center while all of their guests were in a circle around them! They had their reception at the Omni Interlocken in North Denver in the outside pavilion by the pool. The Omni has some beautiful outdoor spots to take pictures and the inside is equally cool with their big staircase! Teresa’s bridesmaids wore long black dresses and she used white Cala lilies and roses for her flowers. They did a great job with all of their details and their wedding was beautiful! We loved working with you and want to congratulate you on your new marriage!

Estes Park Wedding Photography Tahara Lodge

We just loved working with Carrie and Eric. You might remember them from their engagement session earlier this year. These two are such thoughtful kind people with great friends and family. The wedding was at St. Barts Church very close to the Black Caynon Inn. The reception was at the Taharaa Lodge. Carrie should be a planner, she really has great taste. I have to say she had some of the most amazing details we have seen since we started this business. Her attention to detail and classic style was enough to have me and angie say wow more than a few times. She followed a mountain theme using granite, bird cages , a variety of candles and moss. Each table had a completely different look but worked together as a full room. Out on the deck she had engagement photo’s hanging from lines with close pins and everyone had a great time looking at them. Carrie and Eric thank you for having us along for the great ride.

Oxford Hotel and Cheeseman Park Wedding Photography

You might remember Jeremy and Diana from their engagement session in downtown Denver downtown denver engagement session. We had more fun at their wedding if you can believe it. We started with them and their bridal party downtown at Cheeseman Park. That area is so pretty, it is always a great place to shoot! Their wedding at a beautiful church Good Shepard Church and the reception at the historic Oxford Hotel. Diana is a classically trained in cello and has a fine ear for music, so it was so fun hearing the music she had planned for the ceremony. They also had a great band for their reception with a special “blues” song written especially for them! What a great day! Congratulations Jeremy and Diana!

Nicole and Brians Wedding Photography in Monte Vista Colorado, San Louis Valley

Nicole and Brian were married in Monte Vista Colorado. San Louis Valley is about 4 hours away from Denver. The drive was absolutely beautiful and we stopped at the sand dunes on the way there. We had a great time with Brian and Nicole. Their family’s and bridal party are such wonderful people we didn’t want to leave. The wedding was at a beautiful local church and the reception was outside at a stunning estate close by. After the ceremony they had a parade which was lead by red tractor which held the bridal party. Everyone had a great time. The reception site was decked out with tents and lighting, they even provided one of those blowup jumping areas for the children. Nicole had planned for every detail. She had accent pieces on each table with their wedding colors. It was an outside wedding but there was elegant furniture nooks for people to relax. Here are the photos

Walter & Emily Wedding Photography at Coors Field

Walter & Emily had their ceremony at the Holy Trinity Church in downtown Denver and had their reception at Coors Field. They even completed the downtown feel with a carriage ride from the church to the stadium. It was a beautiful wedding with the baseball theme carried throughout. They used different baseball team logos for their table numbers and bridesmaids even wore a shade of purple. We got a lot of fun pictures with the bridal party on the field and in the dugout. Here are some of our favorite shots; the first one won 1st place in the 8 x 10 WPPI Competition recently!
