Wedding and Portrait Photographers Awards (WPPI)

Well…. the bad news is we didn’t get international print of the year. The good news is we came home with 6 more awards, giving us a total together of about 23! We are always honored to see our prints hanging with the best wedding photographers in the world. I am really proud of Angie! It is so cool both Angie and I for the last 3 sets of entries have gotten awards. This year WPPI had over 2700 print entries! Going through and looking at all of these awesome award winning prints is one of our favorite parts of the convention! It’s really inspiring! Here are the are 6 prints that we had hanging in Bally’s in Las Vegas.

Angela Wood Wins Accolade of Excellence
in the
2008 Awards of Excellence 16×20 Print Competition
Angela Wood of Littleton, CO, has received special honors in the WEDDING & PORTRAIT
PHOTOGRAPHERS INTERNATIONAL (WPPI) 2008 Awards of Excellence 16×20 Print Competition.
Designed to recognize outstanding photographers, the judging was held in Las Vegas, NV on March 15
and 16, 2008.
“something pink” received an Accolade of Excellence in the Bridal Party category.
Wood competed against an international field of photographers to win such honors.
The Awards of Excellence 16×20 Print Competition awards are presented each year at the largest trade
show, educational platform and convention in the United States for professional photographers. The
2008 competition included 2653 prints in 19 different categories submitted by photographers from all
over the world.
