We have talked about trash the dress before on the blog.
Here are a few sessions that have been shot in the trash the dress style. Some of these shoots were done before, after the wedding or at a get-together with photographers.

We also talked about how we are not overly fond of the name but have kept it in our marketing and pricing. Bridals shot after the wedding, including day after sessions, with both bride and groom, without regard for the dress, are considered trash the dress to us. You can go out, not with the intention of trashing your dress, but rather getting amazing wedding imagery that you would not have had time for or might have gotten to dirty. This aired on the Today show this morning. We want to say congratulations to all of our fellow photographers spotlighted this morning.

I am sure almost everyone has seen the wedding dance that swept the country a few months ago. It was a lot of fun to watch. I found this version that was done live in New York on the Today show. This time around there is a cast, wheelchair and a huge crowd.

One of our favorite detail shots at every wedding is the rings. I wont go into the symbolism of the rings themselves, but they say something about the people that picked them out. In some ways the shot can be very powerful because of what the rings mean. The other great thing is shots like this are a great way to show the ring off to those that couldn’t make it to the wedding. I am working on a wedding today and I really loved this shot and thought you guys might like it.
