There isn’t much better than a portrait that can bring a smile to your face.
It’s hard to believe we haven’t shared this wedding yet but I’m excited to share it today! Derek & Jenn have such fun personalities and did a great job incorporating it along with all of the beauty their wedding had.
Getting ready this wedding day morning the weather was a little chilly and it was raining. As a wedding photographer here in Colorado, we never know what the weather will bring no matter what the time of year, so we just prepare for anything. Luckily the sun came out and the rest of the day was beautiful!
They used bright colors throughout the day including dark pink and a teal blue. The bridesmaids wore cute little black dresses with a blue wrap around their waists and the groomsmen had blue vests and ties to match. The flowers were bundled dark pink gerber daises with touches of white.
They were married at the Lakewood Country Club in the grass surrounded by big, beautiful, green trees and beds of colorful flowers. Golf courses are one of my favorite venues for a wedding because of the rolling green grass, flowers, trees and almost always some water.
Their beautiful wedding ceremony was followed by a fun reception, toasts full of old stories from friends and lots of dancing!
