Tom & Jill were one of those cute couples who love pictures and almost picked their venues around them. They were married at the historic Shove Chapel down in Colorado Springs….a huge chapel made of stone with colorful glass windows and quite possible the longest aisle I have ever seen. Many couples like to get married here because of the beautiful architecture and the beautiful park which surrounds it. Trees, grass and pathways all around marked with tall lampposts is what you will find outside the Shove Chapel.
Jill had a beautiful wedding gown with hand sewn bead work and carried a bouquet of white and purple roses. She wore a long veil that cascaded down the aisle behind her for several feet, perfect for the long aisle she walked down. Her bridesmaids wore elegant purple dresses and carried a little bouquet of white flowers. Their ceremony was full of happy tears and hugs……
Just another sneak peak till I get the time to post all the images from this Wedding at Shove chapel in Colorado Springs. I personally think it is one of the pretties chapels in Colorado. We had beautiful weather as you can see in the image and I love the happiness Jill had.
We get a lot of calls for wedding reshoots. Honestly my heart breaks every time we get a call and someones wedding images have been ruined by an amateur that thought they were a professional. It happens all the time, and we wish we could do more. We are now in a time in the photographic industry where their a very few full time wedding photographers in Colorado. People who all they do is wedding photography. You have to be very diligent when getting a bargain photographer. Like most things in life you get what you pay for. We are full time wedding photographers with a studio we own. Over nine years of experience with weddings. We have seen a lot, and can create beautiful images even when there is bad weather, or time and schedules go crazy. Thats what a pro brings to the table. Being able to get the job done no matter what is happening. An amateur is stressed in the best of circumstances, what happens when things don’g go their way.
We had some inclement weather as you can see even on this shoot. We got out of the rain and created some amazing images.
A little teaser image for you guys. This was taken at Lionsgate in Lafayette Colorado. I love the feelings that the image shows us.
