Priceless Moments

Wednesday, December 15, 2010 Posted in Photographer

Sometimes there is that third angle that would yield some beautiful images.  We are working on a wedding from Phipps Mansion and I really wanted to share these images.  The bride and groom decided to do a “first look” before the ceremony so we could  get their portraits done ahead of time.  The couple chose to do a first look so that they could still have those feelings and emotions of seeing each other for the first time.  It’s a beautiful experience for the couple and yields some beautiful emotional images.  So back to the third angle.  Usually 2 photographers can get everything unless there is a backside “special image”.  In this case in through the mansion and on the backside of the gate. We sent our wonderful and talented assistant Charlotte to the back side to get these images.  These images are both artistic and candid at the same time.  Without that third hand the couple would never have seen these images.  Both images were shot through the gate.  The gate has two openings.  One showed the groom and the other the bride, almost seconds apart.

Real moments, caught without them knowing.  Being able to see how you felt at that exact moment I believe will be priceless in the years to come.

  • Eric These are beautiful shots. I love her smile and the way they are almost abstract. 12.16.10, 12:51AM
  • Denver Photographer It's certainly obvious why a second shooter can be a great idea. Well I guess in this case she was a third shooter,... you know what I mean. 12.18.10, 12:33AM
