Landlocked Bride is an awesome blog written by Brit Tucker. She is a fabulous blogger talking about anything weddings, especially in the midwest. She featured one of our images yesterday, and I thought you guys might enjoy her blog as well. Actually I know you will enjoy her blog. There are a lot of wedding blogs out there, but not ones that have as much personality and soul poured into them.

Not sure what my reaction is supposed to be after watching this video. Its to funny not to share, but thats at least 10,000 worth of equipment plus the bride and grooms pictures. Does it make me evil if it made me laugh a little? Did I offset it by crying a little as well?

We are so lucky to work in such a happy an industry where a group of people come together to create an amazing day with the help of the bride, who holds the true vision of the day. We meet people in the wedding industry everyday and sometimes we get to know them on a more personal level. Awhile back we went to an event in Estes Park where we met Heather from La Dolce Vita Weddings. She is a wedding planner here in Colorado and right from the start we had a great time hanging out with her! Recently we had the opportunity to take some pictures for her for business purposes and it was a blast! Heather was a great model and despite the wind we went on for hours! We love to spotlight vendors that do a great job for our brides. People that we have built relationships with over the years and know they are trustworthy and talented at what they do. Mike Sullivan from MTS Productions was our DJ at our wedding. If you know us that says a lot. Since we work in the industry, I would say that we were picky when it came to the DJ because we know that they run your reception. A bad one can ruin or make it exceptional. I can tell you that he did an incredible job. He really knows how to run a wedding and work the crowd so they are having fun. With over 20 years of experience he knows how to run a great wedding and have everyone having the time of there lives.

A few things we loved
1. Played the appropriate kind of music during dinner to help set the mood
2. Played Music early on that everyone would love (young and old)
3. Was on top of timing and made sure everything went to plan
4. Later in the night as some of the family and older friends went home , he was able to change the music for the younger crowd.
