Andy & Kristin recently got married at the Ski Tip Lodge here in Keystone, Colorado. Ski Tip Lodge is a bed & Breakfast right off the mountain in Keystone. Apparently they are known for the breakfast’s as they serve full on hot breakfast meals!
It’s such a cute wedding venue with beautiful surroundings. The building itself looks like a European Chateau and is covered with all sorts of colorful flowers. It wasn’t hard to find a place for pictures because it was so pretty everywhere. Andy & Kristin were married out back amongst the aspen trees, the mountains and a little pond. As soon as Kristin made it to the end of the aisle it began to rain, but they were such good sports and stuck through the ceremony!
Her bridesmaids wore cute little purple dresses and she used purple throughout the details including the centerpieces. Their guest book was a landscape photography coffee table book that the guests signed and left little messages around the pictures. For dinner they had a pasta bar where the guests could choose the type of pasta, the meat, the sauce, the veggies and anything else to put in it. They had several guys there to cook up the pasta up right there for you. It was a great idea and the food was wonderful. We had such a great time at your wedding and we are so happy to have been a part of it! Thanks and Congratulations Andy & Kristin!
Because Andy & I have been so busy with wedding season we haven’t been able to do as many family photo sessions as in the past, so we have created 2 days of Family photo sessions!
The first one will be outside this Sunday, November 1st!
If you are interested we still have a few appointments left!
We are doing about 20-30 minutes and have special packages for this session!
Most of the packages include Holiday Cards; samples are in the post below!
Give us a call at 303.888.9394 or send us an email: andy@a-a-photography.com if you are interested or need more details!
The second session will be in a few weeks inside at our studio on a backdrop!
We will offer the same packages for both sessions and Holiday Cards!
We will be resuming normal family photo sessions by appointment in January.

I wanted to put a very small taste of a trash the dress session Angie and I did a few weeks ago. Kami and Justin did a trash the dress/day after session with us. The weather was crazy and we got some truly stunning stuff. I think some of the work was our best to date.
A little background on trash the dress for those of you who are not familiar.
Trash the dress: Was a national phenomena where photographers take the bride back out after the wedding day and destroy the wedding dress. I am not a huge fan of the name since this isn’t how we approach the shoot. It is a time for angie and I to do portraits without fear of getting the dress dirty, not destroying it. We have kept the name because it is what most brides associate with when they think of this kind of shoot. Its the same premise as a bridal shoot but we can have more fun and not worry about a little piece of dirt.
Day after Wedding Shoot: Is a shoot typically the day after the wedding. It gives the photographer a chance to create portraits that time did not allow for on the wedding day. Perhaps going to alternate locations or involving more complex lighting setups.
