Casey & Tara – Castle Rock, Colorado Wedding

Thursday, February 05, 2009 Posted in Colorado Wedding Photographer

Andy and I have slowly started to catch up and we thought we share another wedding we recently finished!  I think we have another 15 or so after this so keep your eyes open!

Casey and Tara were married in Castle Rock here in Colorado at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.  Their reception was at Casey’s family ranch where I learned they have several horses, lots of open land and a few buffalo!   They held the reception in the arena there; it was a giant place which was good because they had hundreds of people there! Their church was so full they had people standing in the back. Because they had so many guests they had individual cakes made for each table.  The cakes were a part of the centerpiece as they sat on top of upside down colorful margarita glasses.  They also had fun margarita glasses filled with candy and pretzels throughout the reception. The bridesmaids wore cute little dresses a beautiful shade of green and their flowers included giant lilies. Tara really put a lot of thought into their wedding making it special and unique for them!

The surprise of the evening was when Tara’s family convinced Casey to drink beer out of her shoe.  I did not see this coming, but thought it was rather comical. It was symbolic of his new place in the relationship. We had a great time at your wedding and we are so happy for you guys! Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day!

Brandon and Danna | Engagement Photographers Colorado

Wednesday, January 28, 2009 Posted in Colorado Wedding Photographer

When Brandon first called us to do an engagement session with him and Danna he mentioned they really liked architecture and bridges. Although we know Colorado well we did some research on the bridges in our state and unfortunately didn’t find a lot. However we know of one and it is the one we used! It was a beautiful day and we had a great time getting to know them, hearing about their wedding and playing around with the bridge!
Congratulations Guys! We hope you have a wonderful wedding!
