Ran across this image and thought I would share it. Taken downtown at a shoot with some fellow photographers. I love the reflections and the color in the window. Enjoy
I just wanted to put a beautiful shot for you guys today since its Monday. This ring shot was taken at a wedding at Arrowhead Golf Course. It is an absolutely beautiful place to have a wedding in Colorado. I loved this shot because its pretty difficult to get 3 rings to sit up and the deep blue color just makes this dramatic.
Its been a really busy summer, and we shot two Colorado weddings and an engagement session this weekend. I want to thank everyone for being troopers since it was so hot. Everyone was melting but we got some amazing images. So I hope everyone is re-hydrating this week.
One of the things that we teach is keeping a consistent branding message. While it’s easy to preach it it’s not always easy to do since it can be both time consuming and expensive. We have had everything branded the same except our splash page since a few month’s before WPPI. Well as of yesterday the splash page has been updated to match the branding.
Branded:
Our client Management Software- Shootq is amazing thats all I am going to say right now. I am going to be talking about them in few weeks and how crazy cool this software is.
Shopping Cart- This is in my opinion the best shopping cart on the market. Beautiful work from the guys at PickPic who was also one of our sponsors.
Splash Page- Some tweaking and a template from Holly Mccaig made this splash page look branded and amazing. Check out her photography its great.
Website- One of our sponsors and a great company to work with Flosites. Branded exactly like our blog and has some cool branding features like the butterfly in our logo moving.
Blog- The peice that started it all. We were floored when we saw this amazing design and the new functionality that we had never seen added. We owe it all to flosites for making it an amazing and successful blog.
If couldn’t tell already, Melissa LOVES pink! We have seen pink used a lot at weddings but I think this bride wins for the most pink used at a wedding! Along with pink, Melissa incorporated green which she used throughout the reception. Each of her bridesmaids wore a different style and color pink dress. The ceremony was on the beautiful grass lawn they have there and the aisle was covered with pink and white rose petals. They used white wooden chairs and provided each guest with bubbles and pink ribbon.
For the reception Melissa had pink and green paper lanterns hung from the ceiling in between the glass chandeliers. The chairs were tied with ribbons and they had small bird houses on all of the tables; along with baskets of candy eggs. They had a really fun 3 tiered cake with little flowers, stripes and triangles in pink and green that leaned different directions.
Congratulations Josh & Melissa!
