Here is a ring photograph from a recent engagement session that we did in downtown Denver. I really love seeing the variety of rings out there. This one has a beautiful princess cut, and a classic antique style halo setting. I will get to share some more images from the session soon.
Even photographers have a hard time making decisions; sometimes not being able to pick a favorite. Portraits have become a dying art especially with Photojournalism. The timeless portrait, the picture that shows who someone is. The picture of a person that family members hold on to show generation after generation. I have thought about the reason many photographers overlook the power of a great portrait and I think it is because it takes time to develop the skills to get a great portrait. Getting the subject to open up and to be comfortable with the camera. I believe a good portrait will always be cherished and the art of portrait photography is so important.
Being engaged is one of happiest times of you life. It’s an exciting time filled with memories in the making.
Portrait of a bride, in dramatic light on her wedding day. When I look at the image I am wondering what she is thinking about, the emotions she is going through. I think it is a timeless image that the family will enjoy looking back on.
