I love shooting Delta 3200. It has a beautiful look to it and a timeless quality to it. The grain you get from this film is unlike anything that you can do in photoshop to a digital file. I like using it at times when there is a lot of emotion. The look and the emotion seem to go hand in hand with this emulsion.
Photographers have known for generations that hand placement in a photograph can tell a lot about a relationship. It’s part of body language. We even use hand placement in a photograph to help us give a score in photographic competitions. It shows connection. Without seeing the bride and groom in this image you get a sense of the moment they are having.
Don’t forget to find an amazing pair of shoes for your wedding. There are so many choices and they show your personality. The perfect accessary to show off who you are.
It’s been a while since I shared any engagement sessions with you guys. We shoot around 25 engagement sessions a year, and have a lot of fun with our couples doing them. Matter of fact it was November when we shared a sneak peak of a film engagement session. We had a great time with Paul and Jill and they took us to an amazing spot. Colorado can be such a beautiful place to live. This is just one of the amazing images we got from the day. If I ever get caught up with the blog, I will share more images from this session.
