We did this fun wedding up in Vail at the beautiful Donavon’s Pavilion. Charles and Melanie wanted a winter wedding and they definitely got it with the cold and the snow. It was fun working with this couple; they weren’t traditional at all from the bride’s silver, sparkly shoes to the outside dark family photos with special lighting. The girls all carried bouquets of feathers and the whole wedding was designed with branches, special lighting and crystal beads.
This time of year is always crazy for Angie and I. We were in Winter Park yesterday for a wedding at Devils Thumb Ranch, but before we left we had a beautiful engagement session in Downtown Denver. I wanted to share two lovely shots from the engagement. I know it’s always a sneak peak but, its better than nothing right?
Believe it or not taken with film.
I know this image is out of order and we just posted a sneak peak but I had to show it. As photographers we are always looking for that image that shows real emotion. The stuff that makes us humans have a soul and the ability to love. It’s hard to get that image, it is hard to show something that is intangible, something that is hard to describe unless you have felt it yourself. I love this image and hope you will to.
Just a sneak peak of the wedding we photographed in Centennial Wyoming. The bride and groom love to ride this bike on the weekends and it made for some great pictures. All the details were beautiful. I hope you enjoy the image.
