Jared & Brandee had a formal wedding with a very romantic feel. They had several candles lit throughout the whole day while the main lights were dimmed. Her bridesmaids wore long black & white elegant dresses and carried beautiful bouquets of pink, white and purple flowers. Brandee’s bouquet was also very elegant with white roses, calla lilies and small purple flowers throughout.
They used simple white tablecloths with black linen napkins and had a tall vase in the middle of each table with black stones, a single white rose submerged in water and a small black candle. The whole room was breathtaking after it was dark and all of the candles were lit. It was such a romantic setting, you couldn’t help but to feel the love in the room.
As is custom at Mile High Station, the bride & groom did their first dance on the bottom floor while their guests watched from above dropping rose petals slowly throughout the dance.
It was a beautiful wedding and we are thankful to have been a part of their wedding day! Here are a few more of our favorite pictures….

We got sidetracked with some really great news we received Friday and will be sharing very soon. Sorry for all the secretive talk. If I was to stop and tell everything that was going on right now it would be a really long post:) Since I didn’t get the Mile High Station Wedding up on the blog yet I wanted to get atleast another image for you guys up. I will be posting this wedding tomorrow from Mile High Station but in the meantime I wanted to get at least one image up for everyone. Mile High Station is a really fun place to shoot for a photographer because it offers such diverse places to shoot. The inside is urban elegance and outside has industrial looks. For this bridal potrait we wanted to use a few elements. One was the lines helping lead you to the bride. The Contrast between light and dark in this photograph also help you find the bride.
I just wanted to put a beautiful shot for you guys today since its Monday. This ring shot was taken at a wedding at Arrowhead Golf Course. It is an absolutely beautiful place to have a wedding in Colorado. I loved this shot because its pretty difficult to get 3 rings to sit up and the deep blue color just makes this dramatic.
Its been a really busy summer, and we shot two Colorado weddings and an engagement session this weekend. I want to thank everyone for being troopers since it was so hot. Everyone was melting but we got some amazing images. So I hope everyone is re-hydrating this week.
