Working on weddings this weekend I came across this image from a wedding in Vail, Colorado. It shows the excitement and happiness from the grooms perspective. The women doing the ceremony to his right is the brides mother. You can see her genuine excitement as well. Getting images like this at every single wedding are what we strive for. Real, Raw, beautiful images.

We just got the email from WPPI ( Wedding and Potrait Photographers International) that Angie got 5 more awards (AE , accolade of excellence) . That takes her total to 12. I got another 7 taking my total to 39. We will share the pictures very soon. The images for these were submitted a few months ago so many of our weddings were not done yet. They will be submitted next time. I know a few of you demanded awards from your wedding images:)

Angie and I recently had the pleasure of doing an engagement session in dowtown denver and a hotel suite. The goal was not to shoot the typical engagement images. You know the ones grandma likes:) Scott and Jo specifically asked for artistic fashion oriented images. All of these images are Angies, because it took two of us to light these. I think these turned out really cool. What do you think?

I was going through my memory box last night looking for my favorite picture. I was putting something together for my fathers birthday and needed it. If someone asked me what is your favorite photo this one would come to mind? Looking through the my box of memories was not something I do very often, maybe a couple times in my life. It was kind of fun and sobering. Old pictures of me and angie were a common theme since we met in highschool. Pictures from college at the business school at CSU and the fraternity Delta Sigma PI. Pictures from trips with family and portraits of family that are living in other states. Lots of pictures of me playing sports in highschool, baseball, basketball, cross country. All of those pictures truly are priceless and bring back a flood of emotion. So I bet you want to see my favorite picture?
