Angie and I think it is important to constantly challenge ourselves to get that next shot and take our photography to the next level. Part of what keeps us in the game is entering contests around the world to see how our work stacks up against the best in the industry. Out of 3000 entries this year angie and I have 3 in the top 100 (which is pretty impressive). Go and check them out throw us a vote if you get a chance:) There really is some stunning work, I am constantly amazed at the top notch work that wedding photographers around the world are producing. The real Voting for the contest
Well its snowing like crazy here in colorado as many of you already know. I posted a week ago about the Open House at the Oxford Hotel and I wanted to let you know that it has been canceled because of the weather.
Rescheduled for:
Wednesday April 1st 5pm-8pm
Tim and Lisa got married at the Red Rocks Trading Post which is a beautiful spot for a ceremony. Only there was one hitch for this wedding there was a concert scheduled after they booked it. Good thing it was a concert for a band they love. You can see in one of the pictures that they even stopped to get a picture with all the people tailgating before the concert. The weather was a perfect colorado sunny day and we couldn’t have asked for more. The reception was in downtown denver at the Magnolia Hotel. If you haven’t been in the ballroom its just a stunning place to have a reception. It reminds me of many of the buildings from back east. Congratulations Tim and Lisa thank you for letting us be a part of your day.
Erin called us to ask if we would be part of their Second Annual Open House. We are excited to see all of you there. If you are thinking about getting married downtown the Oxford Hotel has so many things you wont find anywhere else. The service you will receive is second to none from McCormicks Catering and of course Erin Browning:) I wish Angie and I had known about Erin and the Oxford when we were getting married. If you are still looking for a Venue RSVP with Erin at 303.628.5567. The open house will feature the Oxford’s Favorite Event Professionals (we will be there ) so stop by and say hello. We will be in a room with Kelley Kakes and Bella Fiori Flowers we cant wait.
