Beautiful sky’s in colorado. We have been working through a lot of weddings lately and I have been trying to share the shots that really strike me. I love the colors, the beautiful colorado skies, and our couple having so much fun. So enjoy this one until our next post.
Andie’s pinup session was featured on project bride this evening. ProjectBride is a Wedding Inspiration Blog. If you like wedding industry blogs you need to check it out.
We have been holding these off the blog and its time to show them off. We wanted to wait till after her wedding to put these on the blog. Andie called us after booking us for her wedding in Silverthorne Colorado and asked if we would be willing to do a pinup session. She just loves the old era pinups. She gave them to her hubbie on the wedding day as a present.
It was a super challenging shoot with a lot that went into the pictures. Andie had her hair and makeup done. The second big challenge was creating a photograph that looks like pinup. If you look at the most notable pictures of pinup Alberto Vargas comes to mind. The word Vargas Girls was punned from his illustrations. When people hear pinup they think of these illustrations. The challenge, make a photograph that is simple yet complex enough to look like an illustration.
We met Shawn and Jeanna in downtown Denver one day after work to do their engagement session. The weather was beautiful and in the city there are so many places to shoot. We started by Union Station and worked our way across the city. We had a lot of fun and we just wanted to share a few of our favorites from this engagement session in downtown Denver!
